site beginning mid-day on Friday before the shoot, no pre-registration
is required.
Q: How much
does it cost to shoot?
A: Adult shooters, 16 and older,

A: At the State Championship in
March two rounds of 20 targets each must be shot on Saturday. The competition

of the two rounds with a cut-off on Sunday at 11:30 am.
Q: Why am
I regrouped for the Sunday round?
A: Our March shoot is a state championship
event and in the spirit of competition TBOF regroups you with those shooting
the closest score to yours. You may choose not to shoot the Sunday round
if you do not prefer to be regrouped. Feel free to shoot the Fun Range
or visit our vendors.
Q: What
if I don’t want to shoot the competition, can I still attend?
A: Absolutely! TBOF maintains a
Fun Range that has the challenge and a unique assortment of targets that
match our competition ranges. The Fun Range is open mid-day Friday through
mid-day Sunday during our shooting events for $15.00 per adult shooter
for the entire weekend. TBOF also has a 10 target Coon shoot competition
that is shot Friday and Saturday evenings after dark. Each Coon shoot round
is $5 for each adult shooter. TBOF additionally has a 10 target IRON Man
competition featuring challenging targets with the unique twist that this
competition is shot with only 1 arrow. The IRON Man range is open mid-day
Friday through mid-day Sunday. Each IRON Man round is $5 for all shooters.
You can also enjoy our practice range, vendors, novelties, Sunday raffle,
and guest speakers. You may also canoe, kayak, or fish on site. Bring your
own gear.

only in the generator use area.
Q: What

Expect to shoot tight brushy shots! One range can occasionally be wet behind
a few targets depending on recent rainfall.

are the shot distances at a TBOF shoot?
A: Our shots are set up with challenging
traditional shooting distances in mind, ten to thirty yards. However, each
range typically has one longer shot.
Q: What
types of targets will I be shooting at?
A: TBOF uses 3-D targets from McKenzie.
Expect to shoot everything from beaver to bison plus many exotic species.
