Highlights of the 1999 Fall Rendezvous
  • We had 207 registered shooters.
  • First place for the Friday night Coon Shoot was Cliff Richardson and his prize was a pair of Binoculars from Cabelas valued at over $100.00
  • Jim Jones shot a 360 in the Mens Primitive class. That score was higher than any other class with the exception of mens traditional
  • Parnell Oliver shot a perfect score on one range and only dropped 5 points on the other one. He dropped the 5 points on his first target of the day, talk about a come back!
  • Manley Knife donated by Buddy Manley was won by Bobbi Weatherman with a volunteer ticket. It pays to help!
  • The Four Winds Longbow donated by bowyer Lester Pynn was won by Gary Crosby
  • David Semones donated a beautifull knapped knife with intricately carved handle. Jack Keener was the lucky winner of that knife.
  • The Red obsidian knife donated by Mike Hutchison was used for a special drawing for anyone that shot our fun ranges on Sunday. Charlie Wheeler was drawn for that prize.
  • We had one fun range open Friday afternoon and Saturday. We had two fun ranges open Sunday
  • We had two handmade back quivers donated to our raffle. One was made by Forrest Boone and won by Fred Bremen. The other was made by Bruce Hamlin and won by Randy Hicks
  • Tom and Shannon Holtz donated their very first traditional bow to the raffle table. It was a Hoyt and Ben Brown won it.
  • The high score on the coon shoot this year was a 60. This is largely due to the new target faces that were used. Smaller point rings. No more 90's here!
