TBOF Range Rules

  • Must have score card to shoot competition ranges.
  • Two sets of score cards are kept by two separate score keepers.
  • Scores are:
    • “10”/kill zone,
    • “5”/outside kill zone 
    • “X” for a miss.
    • If there is a front and back scoring ring, score the front ring.
  • Archers must touch stake while shooting.
    • Orange Stake: Men’s
    •  Green Stake: Women’s and Youth
    •  Blue Stake: Cubs
    • White Stake: All Shooters on Fun Range​
  • Do not move shooter stakes! Do not move brush, there is a shot!
  • Please walk around shooting lanes in order to leave the shot challenging for all shooters.
  • Arrow must remain in target to score.
  • Search for lost arrows after the round is concluded.

Scoring Examples

This target has had some scoring questions. 
This target has a removable insert.
​The 10 ring is in the front half of the insert.
Any arrows on the back half of the line are scored a 5.

​This target does not have a removable insert so an arrow touching the line or anywhere within the circle is scored a 10

The lighter line in the inside is the 10 ring
​if the arrow hits outside of that line, even if it is inside the insert line, it is scored a 5.

Specific to Spring Championship Rules

  • For the Spring Championship turn in score cards by 5 p.m. Saturday. Pick up score cards at 8 a.m. Sunday.
  • During the Spring Championship archers on the competition ranges, whether competing or not, must be shooting in a group of four to eight

Specific to Fall Rendezvous Rules

  • For Fall Rendezvous scorecards must be turned in by 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
  • During the Fall Rendezvous archers on the competition ranges, whether competing or not, must shoot in groups of three to six
